The Mathesis Yoga Protocol

A Mathesis Protocol of Yoghism with 22 Chakras

A LaserEduLogics Initiatic Praxis

This protocol is not merely a sequence of yogic exercises. It is an initiatic praxis of Mathesis, a coherent path of inner alignment intended to awaken the human being to the integral structure of consciousness. It is rooted in my exegetical study of the YYY, The Psychological Purposes, and the wider bibliography of the Master, but it is also illuminated by a broader LaserEduLogics synthesis that brings into ordered relation the four planes of being — mental, astral, etheric, and physical.

In this work, the instructions of the Maestre are approached through the converging lights of Abellio’s Kabbalah, Dom Neroman’s astrological correspondences, Rudolf Steiner’s Etheric Christ and angelic phenomenology, the angelic and etheric operations of Daskalos, and the psycho-physical insights of Vasant Rele’s The Mysterious Kundalini. These streams are not gathered here as an eclectic mixture, but as facets of one and the same search: the restoration of the Universally Educated Person through the coherent union of Yoga, Kabbalah, phenomenology, sacred science, and lived initiatic experience.

It was through the respiratory discipline of Wim Hof that I overcame my fear of entering into the practical discipline of the Triple Bandha as presented in Rele and in the Yoghic transmission of the Maestre. I have also received living orientation for this work from Dr. Robert Gilbert, founder of the Vesica Institute, one of the most advanced contemporary interpreters of Steiner, Daskalos, and Samuel Sagan. Through such convergences, the path became not merely conceptual, but operative.

At the end of PP 14, The Mystery of Israel, the Maestre presents a table of parallels linking the 22 Keys of the Tarot with the 22 Hebrew Letters. Between the letters and the Arcana there appear the higher mental worlds, the angelic hierarchies, the planets, and the elements. The present work is a LaserEduLogics variant of that sacred table, revealed to me during the translation of the YYY into English. In this sense, what follows is not only commentary, but unveiling: a practical key to the Mystery of Israel through the living science of Yoghic-Kabbalistic Mathesis.

Structure of the Initiatic Exercise

This praxis unfolds in five parts, corresponding to a progressive ascent and descent of consciousness through the planes of being.

1. Purification: Preparing the Vessel

The work begins with shatkarmas, the acts of purification that prepare the vehicle of the initiate: ablutions with cold water, cleansing of the body, the teeth, and the tongue, and trataka for the eyes.

This first stage is indispensable. Before the Light may be received, the instrument must be made ready. The body is not treated as an obstacle, but as a temple to be washed, clarified, and magnetized for the descent of higher forces.

2. Invocation and the Mental Plane: Establishing the Axis of the I AM

We invoke Jeshua Homo Solis (JHS), the Solar Logos, under his initiatic name in the work of Raynaud de la Ferrière:

In this protocol, that fire is understood as Kundalini, the renewing principle by which fallen nature is transfigured and the human constitution is progressively returned to its luminous archetype.

Through passive and active meditation, the initiate visualizes the Sephirotic Tree together with its numerological light-algorithm:

This visualization is centered in the third-eye channel, in the third ventricle, between the pituitary and the pineal. Here we contemplate Daath, the knowledge of the I AM, the awakening of the Transcendental Ego. This is the central axis of the upper triangle, the station of the higher mental body, Hayah, the spirit or consciousness of Consciousness itself.

Here the practitioner must understand that the work is not merely imaginative. The image serves as an organ of participation. To see in this way is already to align oneself with the architecture of higher being.

3. The Astral Plane and the Three Flames: Purification, Healing, and Christic Transfiguration

To pass into the astral world, the Triangle of Light is placed beneath the feet upon a white field with golden sides. This lower placement is not a descent into darkness, but a sanctification of the base. The path must be grounded before it can ascend.

• On the right side of the triangle arises a red flame, ascending toward the angelic hosts and invoking purification through the archangel MiKaEl or MaHaEl.

• On the left side arises a violet flame, invoking healing through the archangel Raphael.

• From the base rises a white flame, invoking the Christic transfiguration of the entire being.

We then return to MiKaEl’s red flame and visualize it circulating through the six chakras of the right leg, crossing at the solar plexus toward the left, rising along the left side of the spine to the shoulders, and crossing to the right shoulder, where the red wings are opened.

Then we return to the golden triangle beneath the feet and raise Raphael’s violet flame. It ascends through the chakras of the left leg, crosses through the solar plexus toward the right, rises along the right side of the spine, and crosses at the shoulders, opening the corresponding wings of fire.

Finally, from the base of the triangle the white flame rises through both legs, penetrates the perineum, the sacrum, the coccyx, the 33 vertebrae, and the skull, emerges through the third eye, descends in front of the body, and re-enters once more through the perineum. Then it rises through the central column, passing through the seven chakras in correspondence with the seven planets, and ascends toward the nine angelic hierarchies:

• Angels — spirits of life

• Archangels — spirits of fire

• Archai — spirits of time

• Elohim — spirits of form

• Dynamis — spirits of movement

• Kyriotetes — spirits of wisdom

• Thrones — spirits of will

• Cherubim — spirits of harmony

• Seraphim — spirits of love

This is the passage from the astral purifications into the luminous ladder of celestial correspondences. One does not merely imagine the hosts; one seeks to enter into conscious accord with the ordered hierarchy of the cosmos.

4. The Etheric Christ and the Etheric Body: The Rose of the Heart and the Transfiguration of the Organism

The white flame now descends through the Pillar of Glory, the central column, into the heart. There it is transfigured into the Etheric Christ, who circulates through the arteries and nourishes all the cells of the physical body with prana.

This stage is of central importance for LaserEduLogics, because it reveals that the human being is not transformed merely by abstraction, but by the coherent irradiation of the living center. The heart is not merely emotional; it is an organ of higher synthesis.

From the heart, the etheric force rises to the third eye, where it is transfigured into etheric air as a Ray. This Ray illuminates the chakras according to their chromatic correspondences:

• Muladhara — yellow

• Swadhisthana — purple

• Manipura — red

• Vishuddha — green

• Sahasrara — blue

This oceanic blue is transfigured into the ether of water, energizing the cerebrospinal fluid and distributing itself to the kidneys as a purifier of the blood’s watery principle.

The etheric water is then transfigured into the violet ether of earth, illuminating the skeletal system: the skull, the teeth, the spine, the chest, the sacrum, and the bones of the entire organism. The 32 teeth are understood as living fuses corresponding to the 32 Paths of Wisdom in Kabbalah, and as channels linked to subtle meridians.

Then the violet ether of earth is transfigured into the moral ether of pink light in the heart, together with the living memory of the deepest loves experienced in this incarnation: newborn children, beloved companions, husbands, wives, and all the luminous ties by which the soul has truly known love. This pink heart-light then bathes the brain with the intellectual radiance of love.

Here the initiate begins to understand a central truth: the highest intelligence is not cold. True intelligence is illuminated by love, and true love is clarified by intelligence. The Rose and the Cross are united in the living center.

5. The Vagus Nerve, Pranayama, and Psycho-Physical Praxis: The Descent into Operative Mastery

With the Etheric Christ activated in both heart and brain, we begin to work with the intelligence of the vagus nerve through alternate pranayama in the rhythm of 4–16–8:

• Puraka

• Kumbhaka

• Rechaka

This is practiced with the inner and outer chalice. From there the work proceeds into psycho-physical gymnastics, a sequence of standing postures, and another sequence of reclining postures, culminating in the Triple Bandha held in kumbhaka, followed by relaxation.

Both the sexual disequilibrium that may arise through work with Muladhara and the mental disequilibrium that may arise through work with Ajna and Kabbalah are transmuted through Yoga and transfigured through Kabbalah by the Pink Light of the Rose and the Cross in the Heart of the Gnostic. The true equilibrium between Kabbalah and Yoga is established by the Etheric Christ, who mediates the forces of ascent and descent, spirit and body, fire and order.

Thus begins the operative Mathesis of the YYY: not as theory alone, but as praxis ordered toward the ontological self-realization of Yoghism.

The Vagus Nerve and the Heart: A Modern Confirmation of Ancient Praxis

A modern key to this work may be found in the study of the vagus nerve. Contemporary discussions concerning methods of vagal stimulation may serve as auxiliary points of reference for those who seek alignment with INRI, the Yogi Nazarene King of the Initiates.

The work associated with the HeartMath Institute suggests a living relation between the intelligence of the heart and the activity of the vagus nerve. Their findings indicate that afferent signals rise from the heart to the brain, and that coherent patterns are associated with alpha rhythms in the brain. They also argue for a relation between the magnetic field of the heart and the magnetic field of the Earth.

From a LaserEduLogics perspective, such findings are significant because they point toward a science of coherence. What ancient initiatic traditions taught through symbol, rite, and contemplative practice is now partially rediscovered through physiological and energetic models. The bridge between ancient gnosis and modern inquiry is one of the central tasks of LaserEduLogics.

Three Initiatic Methods of Kundalini or Shekinah

Throughout the breadth and depth of the Maestre’s works, I discovered that he offers three initiatic methods for working with Kundalini, or the Shekinah. These three methods may be understood as three great directional movements of the Work:

1. From Below Upward

Through Eastern Yoga, from Muladhara to Sahasrara, moving from the objective physiological dimension toward the subjective heights of transcendental psychology.

2. From Above Downward

Through Abellio’s Kabbalah, a form of Western Yoga, descending from the Infinite or Transfinite of Ain Soph down to Malkhuth.

3. From the Center to the Periphery

Through the Way of the Holy Grail in the Heart of the Gnostic, developed by the true Rosicrucians, the pure Christic initiates, such as Rudolf Steiner, and by authentic disciples such as Dr. Robert Gilbert of the Vesica Institute in the United States and Yeshayahu Ben-Aharon, author of Cognitive Yoga in Israel.

These three movements — from below upward, from above downward, and from the center outward — provide the initiate with a complete dynamic of transformation. They are not contradictory paths, but complementary currents within one integral Work.

Concluding Orientation: Toward the Ontological Self-Realization of the Yoghic Gnostic

With these elements we may begin to penetrate the authentic meaning of the Maestre’s teaching, without losing sight of our principal aim: first to understand his position, then to practice according to his method, and finally to teach it to the public.

We need instructors of Yoghism, especially now that we are nearing the publication of the YYY in English. In the United States alone there are millions of practitioners of Eastern Yoga, and hundreds of millions worldwide. The present moment therefore offers a rare opportunity: to introduce not only another yoga system, but the path of an authentic Western Yogi, articulated through a LaserEduLogics vision of coherence, synthesis, and initiatic education.

The deeper purpose of this protocol is not merely therapeutic, symbolic, or speculative. It is to begin the reconstitution of the human being as a luminous, coherent, and universally educated person. In this sense, the Mathesis of Yoghism is one of the practical doors through which LaserEduLogics advances from theory into lived realization.
